Warrington Bank Quay station
PASSENGERS are facing delays and cancellations due to a points failure between Patricroft and Newton-Le-Willows this morning.
This is causing disruption to journeys between Manchester and Liverpool Lime Street, Warrington Bank Quay and Preston via Patricroft.
As a result of this, trains may be cancelled, revised or delayed by up to 60 minutes.
This is expected to continue until 9.30am.
Customers have been encouraged to check their journey using the National Rail Enquiries real-time Journey Planner before they travel.
