OUR appeal for selection boxes to help children have a great Christmas has started with a bang with more than 300 dropped off already.

The boxes will be handed out at festive parties at The Children’s Adventure Farm Trust near Lymm.

Now Warrington and Penketh fire stations have agreed to be drop offs.

Helen Crowther, from CAFT, said: “Our drop off points in Warrington at the Guardian offices, Storage King and the Balloon & Gift Boutique have been incredibly supportive and have been humbled, as have we, by the generosity of the people of Warrington.

“We’re so excited that both Warrington and Penketh Fire Stations have now joined the appeal, we’re hoping these new locations will make it even easier for people to donate.

“We still have to secure a further 900 selection boxes so we need to keep the momentum of the appeal going.

“These gifts will be so gratefully received by the children.”
