A PLANNING application has been sent to Wigan Council to build 26 houses on the site of a former church.
Proposals have been submitted to build the homes on land where the former St Catherine of Siena RC Church on Newton Road in Lowton was situated before it was demolished last year.
A decision on the application is set to be made on February 15 with a neighbourhood consultation in place until December 10.
