A CAMPAIGN has been launched to help raise money, food and clothes for a homeless man in Widnes.
Kayleigh Passmore decided to set up the fundraiser in time for Christmas.
The homeless man has been sleeping on the streets in Widnes for a number or years and Kayleigh decided it was time to act after seeing people verbally and physically abuse him.
Food and clothes will be given to the man and any money raised will be used to create tabs around Widnes town centre as an advance payment for food and drink when he needs it.
All donations, no matter how big or small will be personally given to the man and images of receipts will be taken for people's reassurance that their money is helping.
If you would like to donate clothes, or help in any way at all please contact Kayleigh on 07570123125.
Kayleigh will be at Widnes Rugby Club on Heath Road from 7pm every Monday and Tuesday until December 18 to collect donations.
