Beauty and The Beast panto stars set for lights switch-on
GET into the Christmas spirit at the annual lights switch-on in Runcorn and Widnes.
The Widnes festivities will take place on Friday while the Runcorn celebration will be held on November 30.
The lights will be switched on at 6pm.
There will be a roadshow from 3pm with entertainment including a visit from Father Christmas.
Cast members from The Brindley pantomime Beauty and The Beast including Rebecca Lake, who plays Belle, and Andrew Curphey, who stars as French Franc, will be there from 5pm to 6pm on both nights. There will also be fairground rides and stalls.
Children can once again visit Father Christmas at Widnes Market’s free Grotto every Saturday in December and on December 23.
