A MAN has appeared in court charged with two counts of possession with intent to supply heroin and crack cocaine.
Norman Penson, of Blackledge Close, Fearnhead, was detained by police after officers carried out a raid on the Valiant Estate in Padgate on November 8 at 11.30am.
Officers seized a large amount of drugs as well as a stun gun following searches of the property.
The 21-year-old was taken into custody to be questioned by detectives.
He has since been charged with possession of a weapon and acquire, use or had in his possession criminal property, namely cash to an unknown value.
The case will next be heard at Liverpool Crown Court on December 7.
A 22-year-old and 52-year-old, both from Warrington, who were also arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to supply a class A drug, have been released under investigation.
