WARRINGTON fell silent this morning on Remembrance Day.
Hundreds of residents gathered at the Cenotaph for a two minutes silence and remembrance service, falling on the 100th anniversary of the end of the First World War.

The Mayor of Warrington Cllr Karen Mundry, Lord Hoyle, Warrington North MP Helen Jones and Warrington South MP Faisal Rashid were among those who laid wreaths at the town’s war memorial.
