TWO people were treated for smoke inhalation by paramedics after a fire broke out at a flat in Orford in the early hours of this morning (Sunday).
Shortly after 3.30am firefighters were called to reports of a building fire on Toll Bar Road, Hulme.
On arrival crews found the fire involved an electrical vent in a ground floor flat.
Two firefighters wearing breathing apparatus extinguish the fire using a hose reel jet.
The team then used a large fan to clear the smoke from the property.
Two casualties were treated at the scene by paramedics for smoke inhalation.
Crews were at the scene for approximately two hours 10 minutes.
