TRAIN strikes are set to hit passengers travelling from Warrington to the first weekend of the Manchester Christmas markets.
Northern Rail expects to run around a third of its usual services tomorrow, November 10, due to industrial action by the RMT union.
Eight services from Warrington Central will run to Manchester during the day, the first Saturday of this year’s Christmas markets.

The last Northern Rail train back to Warrington is at 6.12pm from Manchester Piccadilly.
