A ‘TEMPORARY’ car park will be in use for another five years after Warrington Borough Council granted planning permission for it to remain open.
The Railway Club on Winwick Street in the town centre was demolished in 2016 in order to make way for the car park.
Consent for the temporary development was originally granted for three years, but this planning permission was due to expire in March 2019.
But developer GE Ramsey has now been allowed to continue operating the temporary car park for another five years.
Warrington Borough Council granted extended planning permission for the scheme on Friday, November 2.
