A TEENAGER suffered serious injuries to his face after a 'vicious assault' in a flat in Bewsey.
Investigations are ongoing after two men entered the flat on Folly Farm Close on Wednesday at 9.30pm and attacked a 19-year-old man.
The two men then ran away in the direction of Folly Lane.
The 19-year-old was taken to Warrington Hospital with serious injuries to his face.
He is now in a stable condition.
Detective sergeant Ian McNabb said: “While our enquiries continue I am keen to hear from anyone who has any information to help with the investigation.
“Although the assault took place inside the flat I believe residents may have seen or heard a disturbance shortly beforehand and I would encourage you to come forward and call police on 101.
“This was a vicious assault leaving the victim with serious injuries to his face and requiring hospital treatment.”
Call Cheshire Police on 101, quoting IML 228173 or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.
