HIGH schools across Warrington have been ranked according to their latest set of GCSE results and the table looks very different from last year.
Once again, King's Leadership Academy in Woolston tops the rankings and more than doubled the amount of students sitting GCSEs from 43 to 97.
However, Lymm High School climbed four places, with 61 per cent of pupils gaining a grade 5 or above in English and maths.
St Gregory's Catholic High School fell six places, according to the progress 8 score.
The schools are ranked by the government’s new provisional progress 8 scores, which measure the progress pupils made between their year 6 SATs and their GCSEs in year 11.
