AN industrial estate in Dallam is now fully occupied after a drywall distributor agreed a deal to move onto the site.

All 13 units on the 14-acre Eagle Park, on Hawleys Lane, are now let after Penlow and Co signed up to move into a 14,049sq ft premises on the estate.

The company has taken out a 10-year lease at £6.75 per sq ft, and will use the unit as a trade counter and for product storage.

Penlow and Co joins letting agents DHRE and second-hand car dealership Rix Motor Company in agreeing deals to take up space in the development.

Other businesses that call Eagle Park home include Bishopgate, Relay Technical Transport, Retail Associates and Premiline Logistics.

Property advisors JLL secured the deal on behalf of Hermes Investment Management.

Richard Johnson, director at JLL, said: “Eagle Park’s popularity is buoyed by its prime location with great access to Manchester, Liverpool and the wider north west.

“The scheme being fully let demonstrates strong demand for high quality industrial space in the region.

“With more grade A estates like this becoming fully occupied, including nearby Taurus Park, it is important for landlords to refurbish to a high standards where necessary to modernise older stock - which can be a key differentiator in capturing demand.”
