TRAFFIC is now starting to ease on the M6 following a vehicle fire.
All lanes have now reopened following the incident on the northbound motorway between junction 22 at Winwick and junction 23 at Haydock.
Traffic was held between 7.05am and 7.20am while the car was extinguished on the opposite side of the carriageway.
