TO help prepare pupils for the future, Newchurch Primary School in Culcheth held an Enterprise Week to inspire the next generation to be the best they can be.
Guest speakers from the NHS and BBC visited pupils to share stories from their career while parents also lent their expertise to develop the future entrepreneurs.
Teacher John Duckett said: "Filled with activities, challenges and guest speakers, the event immersed the children in vocational and social enterprise.
"Each class was also given a £10 challenge to raise as much profit as they could.
"Ideas included selling popcorn and lemonade as well as homemade bookmarks and pom-pom minions.
"It was not only jobs which the children investigated, as they looked at how they could use their design skills to help others.
"The children looked at how Alzheimer's sufferers and those with physical disabilities could be supported in their everyday life through the design of imaginative products. The week was a huge success."
