ORMISTON Bolingbroke Academy (OBA) in Runcorn is one of only 100 schools in the UK to be awarded a prestigious Gold Standard Award.
Leaders and staff from OBA attended the Inclusion Quality Mark Awards in London where they were presented with the IQM Flagship Status.
Emlyn Wright, principal of the academy said: “We are absolutely delighted to have received this Gold Standard Award, which is a testament to the hard-work, commitment, and passion of our pastoral care and support team at the academy.
“At OBA, we are committed to ensuring all students, whatever their background, have access to the opportunities and skills needed to fulfil their potential, and fostering an inclusive culture is a large part of this.
“It is brilliant that this has been recognised by the IQM.”
