A MUM-OF-TWO fighting cancer 'can’t wait to spend the rest of her life showing the world what you can do if you never give up'.

Kirsty Mcdonald, from Orford, is spending her final week in Germany to help boost her immune system through natural holistic therapies.

The 26-year-old said: "My treatment couldn’t be going better.

"When I arrived on September 24, my neutrophils (my immune system) were 1.6.

"The normal range is between four and 10. This was obviously from chemotherapy.

"After just seven days of natural holistic therapies my bloods shot to 4.5.

"Anyone who knows about chemo will know this is practically unheard of while smack bang in the middle of a chemo regime."

Warrington has united to help the 26-year-old as she faces the fight of her life to beat cancer.

Earlier this year, Kirsty was told that the cancer had returned for the third time in 18 months and this time it was aggressive and had spread to her lymph nodes.

This caused yet more heartache as the cancer was now classed as secondary.

After a fundraising campaign was launched at the end of June, more than £40,000 has been donated to help provide financial relief for Kirsty and her two daughters Eva and Ella.

"I honestly can’t wait to spend the rest of my life showing people what is possible with the power of the mind and surrounding yourself with the right people," she said.

"Never ever give up and never ever let anyone decide your fate."

Any money raised will provide financial relief to support the mum-of-two as well as fund any further treatment outside of the NHS.
