THE Barley Mow has launched a new menu today, Tuesday, with new 'big plate specials' and an extended range for vegetarians and vegans.
Four of the Old Fish Market pub's most popular 'king feast' dishes will now feature permanently on the menu as 'big plate specials' including giant curry, chicken feast, pie shop platter and the sausage and mash mountain.
Vegetarian and vegan customers can enjoy a range of specially created recipes that give traditional pub-grub a contemporary twist like the cauliflower dhansak curry and a Thai lentil pie topped with coconut crumble.
A wider selection of burgers have also been added to the burger menu such as the mac and cheese burger and the surf and turf burger alongside comfort food greats like jumbo fish finger butties
Meanwhile, fish fingers and grilled halloumi are among the new additions to the children's menu.
A spokesman for Stonegate Pub Company said: "The changes come as The Barley Mow, with the support of managing operator Stonegate Pub Company, paves the way for more inclusive and expansive pub menus that cater to all customers, whatever their preferences or dietary requirements."
