TRAFFIC is moving slowly on the M62 westbound between junctions 8 and 7 after a car fire.
Firefighters from Penketh and Widnes Fire Station were called to the blaze around 12pm.
It is thought the fire was started by an electrical fault and nobody has been injured.
The car has now been removed from the carriageway but traffic is still moving slowly.
