FIREFIGHTERS were called to a bin fire last night, Wednesday, on Grasmere Avenue in Orford.
At 9.30pm one fire engine from Warrington responded to a fire in a wooded area near to the Radley Common Community Centre.
On arrival the crew discovered a wheelie bin well alight and extinguished the fire using water and were in attendance for around half-an-hour.
The fire is believed to have been started deliberately. Anyone with information about the incident should call Cheshire Police on 101, give the details via www.cheshire.police.uk/contact/general-enquiries or contact Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
