A MAN who called police to say he had been 'ran over' has been found safely in Culcheth.
Greater Manchester Police deployed a police helicopter to Green Lane in Leigh around 6.50am yesterday, Wednesday, to track the man who made a call stating he was hurt after being involved in a collision.
Paramedics were also at the scene.
The search was handed to Cheshire Police from Greater Manchester Police at around noon after he was believed to be in Culcheth.
Officers confirmed he was found in Culcheth 'safe and well' at around 5.30pm with minor injuries and are investigating the details about the collision.
