I REFER to Dave Phillips’ letter in response to mine regarding the inequality of council spending between the north and south of Warrington (Warrington Guardian, August 23).

Can I point out to Mr Phillips that Stockton Heath Primary School was built more than 10 years ago.

Roads are being resurfaced all over Warrington.

The council should spend money on the Forge car park from the money they are generating from charging customers.

Yes the residential streets of Stockton Heath are busy and congested because there is not enough parking areas to accommodate the visitors.

The Forge car park accommodates patients visiting Stockton Heath Medical Centre.

Patients are charged for visiting their doctors.

The Jubilee hub has free parking for doctors’ appointments.

Mr Phillips is obviously out of touch on these matters.
