FIREFIGHTERS have rescued a pensioner from a roof on a building in Glazebrook after he became stuck while completing repairs works.
Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service were called to the scene on Glazebrook Lane shortly before 1pm yesterday, Tuesday, after the man had become stuck on top of the single-storey building.
One fire engine was sent to the scene, and crews used a short extension ladder to rescue him.
The man was then passed over to paramedics.
