MEMBERS of Winwick WI celebrated their 70th birthday in July with a reception at Warrington Town Hall.
The Mayor of Warrington Cllr Karen Mundry welcomed the group to the celebration before giving a talk on 'the importance of the work of women'.
David Hamlett, mayoral officer for the town, also gave an insight into the history of the Town Hall.
Jean Harding, county chairman was in attendance along with Diane Coulton.
The group were given souvenir printed bags, handmade felt badges and cards to commemorate the occasion.
