Firefighters were called to Union Terrace where a recycling bin was on fire
FIREFIGHTERS were called to reports of a recycling bin on fire on Union Terrace off Haxby Road.
A crew from York Fire Station were called to the scene at about 10.45am today, Monday.
They used a hose reel jet to put out the flames and firefighters believe the fire was started deliberately.
