The action-packed pre-match display will also include Warrington Wolves signing the Armed Forces Covenant, buglers, a military cannon and a host of armed forces stands, displays and attractions.

The following day, on Armed Forces Day, a huge festival of military rugby league will take place at Crosfields Amateur Club on Hood Lane in Great Sankey as it host the ninth annual Tom Sephton Memorial Trophy festival.

It sees three back to back games of rugby league alongside plenty of entertainment for the family. Tom was killed serving with the armed forces in Afghanistan.
