THE family of Angela Craddock who died after suffering head injuries have paid tribute to the 40-year-old who will never be forgotten.

Speaking on behalf of Angela’s family, her brother David Craddock has issued a heartfelt thank you for the outpouring of support following her death. 

The 38-year-old said: “We would like to say thank you for the many messages and kind words we have received from friends, family, the public, police and medical staff following my sister’s death. 

“It is difficult to put into words how we are all feeling. 

“Angela will be greatly missed by all her family and she will never be forgotten by those who knew and loved her. Claire, her much-loved cat, is safe with us.”

A murder investigation was launched following her death last Tuesday, April 10.

The 40-year-old died in hospital after she suffered head injuries inside a flat on St Elphin’s Close in Howley.

William Smart, 54, of Winmarleigh Street, appeared at Liverpool Crown Court on Tuesday charged with murder.

He will remain in custody until he next appears on June 15.
