Reader picture: Crash on Birchwood Way
THIS was the scene following a crash on Birchwood Way this morning.
Police were called to the area at 8.50am today, Monday, following reports of a collision involving two cars.
An ambulance was also deployed to the scene near the bridge.
But a spokesman for the North West Ambulance Service later confirmed that paramedics were not needed and were redirected to another incident.
