Council set to visit group of travellers to carry out ‘welfare assessments’
FOUR caravans and associated vehicles have arrived onto council-owned land on Longshaw Street.
Council officers will be visiting the travellers today, Tuesday, to carry out ‘all necessary welfare assessments’.
The site is the location of the proposed Bewsey and Dallam Hub.
Yesterday, the authority confirmed that a group of travellers avoided court action after vacating Orford Jubilee Neighbourhood Hub.
