TWO suspects arrested on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm have been released under investigation after a man was rushed to hospital with serious injuries.
Police were called at 7.10pm last Wednesday, February 7, to reports of an assault on Windermere Avenue in Orford.
A 41-year-old man was taken to Warrington Hospital by ambulance with injuries which were believed to be serious.
The dogs unit and police helicopter helped officers on the ground with the search for the suspects.
Two men, aged 24 and 33, were later detained on suspicion of section 18 assault.
