A MAN arrested on suspicion of the criminal exploitation of a child by forcing them to sell drugs has been released from police custody pending further investigations.

The 28-year-old was detained after officers raided a home in Bewsey today, Thursday, as part of the force's investigation into modern slavery.

He was arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply, requiring a person to perform forced labour and blackmail.

The suspect was taken into custody to be questioned but he has since been released under investigation.
