A SECURITY guard who was caught sending sexually explicit messages to what he believed were 14 and 15-year-old girls could face up to four years in prison after being caught out in a ‘paedophile hunter’ sting.

Brian Daley, from Penketh, sent a series of lewd WhatsApp messages to self-styled paedophile hunters posing as underage girls.

Today, Thursday, he admitted two counts of engaging in sexual communications with a child at Warrington Magistrates' Court.

The court heard the founder of an organisation named Justice Will Be Served set up a social media profile on Saturday, January 20.

Eleven days later, Daley sent a message to this account under the name of Scott.

Over the course of the following week, he sent a string of sexually explicit messages to what he believed was a 14-year-old girl over WhatsApp.

The 39-year-old told her he was ‘sexually aroused thinking about her’ and asked to see pictures of her.

Other vile messages sent by Daley said ‘all I’ve got on my mind is you in your knickers and bra’, ‘age is just a number’ and ‘who abides by the law these days?’.

On Monday, the group set up another account which again received messages from ‘Scott’.

In these texts, he asked the supposedly 15-year-old girl whether she was a virgin while graphic messages detailed sexual acts.

At around 10.30pm on Tuesday, Daley was caught in a sting broadcast live on Facebook by Justice Will Be Served.

Confronted at his house where he lived with his fiancé and mum, wearing his dressing grown, the video has so far been viewed by more than 40,000 people.

Police attended the property and arrested the call centre security guard.

Daley, who has no previous convictions, will be sentenced for his crimes at Liverpool Crown Court next month and could face up to four years in jail.

He has been released on bail until that date on the condition that he has no unsupervised contact with anyone under the age of 16 and does not use any devices with access to the internet.
