FOURTEEN caravans have vacated land at Woolston Neighbourhood Hub – but have set up camp on a Risley site.
The council has been assisting police officers, who agreed to use their section 61 powers which ordered the group to leave the site, on Hall Road, by 2pm today, Thursday.
The group has now vacated the hub – but have arrived onto Silver Lane in Risley.
Council officers will be visiting the site today.
A group made their way onto land at King's Leadership Academy in Woolston last week, while the council was dealing with a separate encampment at Marks and Spencer at Gemini Retail Park on Tuesday.
