ARLEY Hall will host the Great British Food Festival later this year.

More than 100 different food producers and makers will be in attendance as the festival returns to Arley Hall on Saturday, September 22, and Sunday, September 23.

The Great British Food Festival will feature man v food competitions, top chefs demoing their skills, a bake off, live music and entertainment.

Event organiser Daniel Maycock said: “We are always keen to keep pushing the events year on year – with that in mind we have added a bake stage at each event, which is more interactive and relaxed than the main stage, as well as a drinks ‘masterglass’ stage where we will do tastings and talks.

“We hope to offer a fun foodie day out for the whole family.”

Former Great British Bake Off stars Francis Quinn, Luis Troyano, Jane Beedle, Sandy Docherty and Howard Middleton are all set to attend.

Howard said: “I’m really looking forward to coming back to do these events – they are such fun and always a lovely crowd.

“I especially like seeing and trying all the public creations in the cake off.”
