A CHARITABLE youngster has been named as the latest winner of an award given by a primary school in memory of former pupil Eve Shepherd.
The Eve Shepherd Memorial Trophy is awarded to pupils of Bruche Primary School once per term in the name of the 14-year-old former student, who died suddenly in February 2015.
Year three pupil Bella Rigby was presented the award by Eve’s parents Mark and Jane after after raising hundreds of pounds for St Rocco’s Hospice.
Bella took part in the charity’s Lantern Walk at the Orford Jubilee Neighbourhood Hub in memory of her grandma and granddad.
The youngster’s efforts raised a total of £200 for the Bewsey hospice.
