CHANGES have been announced to when bins will be emptied in the week after Christmas.
Due to bank holidays, collections scheduled from Boxing Day to Friday, December 29 will be changed.
If your black or blue bin are due for collection on the following days, they will change as follows:
• Tuesday, December 26 moves to Wednesday, December 27
• Wednesday 27 will be moved to Thursday 28
• Thursday 28 will be moved to Friday 29
• Friday 29 will be moved to Saturday 30.
A council spokesman said wrapping paper can’t be recycled but Christmas cards can.

If you want to recycle your Christmas tree volunteers from Warrington Borough Council and other partners will be collecting trees for recycling in exchange for a donation to St Rocco's
Green bin collections will start again in March.
