TWO caring brothers have selflessly donated their toy Lego to children in Uganda, Kenya, and Botswana.

Proud mum Jane Siano has revealed how her boys Joshua, 12, and Luca, 8, never fail to surprise her with their generosity.

Jane, 43, from Birchwood said: "They have always been brought up to think about others.

"So when we saw a post which had been shared on Facebook about Play Well Africa they both wanted to help.

"It is such a lovely idea as both my boys are really into Lego and they have a ridiculous amount.

"I remember when Joshua was five and he saw an advert on the TV for children in Africa and he wanted to help.

"It has always been in their nature to want to help."

Along with support from pupils at Gorse Covert Primary and Birchwood High, hundreds of Lego pieces have been collected for youngsters in deprived countries.

The donations will be sent to Birmingham, which is the UK base for the charity, in the next few weeks.

The American-based charity, which was set up by six-year-old Micah Slentz, was launched to declutter homes from unwanted toys while providing educational resources for children in Africa.
