A HUSBAND accused of murdering his wife in Culcheth has been refused bail and remanded in custody.
Andrew Munro, aged 50, of Chiltern Road, appeared at Liverpool Crown Court today, Thursday.
The bail application was refused by Judge Goldstone QC, the Recorder of Liverpool.
Mr Munro will next appear at Chester Crown Court on Monday, November 17, for a preliminary hearing.
He has been charged with murder and attempted murder following the death of Clare Munro, aged 47.
The mum-of-three, a child minder, died after being found with serious injuries by Cheshire Police officers on Sunday at 3pm.
The attempted murder charge relates to a second victim.
