STAFF at the Adventure Centre camping shop on Manchester Road will be swapping place with their customers by pulling on the walking boots for a charity challenge.

They will navigate over the three highest peaks in Yorkshire in less than 12 hours on Sunday, July 21 to help raise money for St Rocco’s Hospice.

Martyn Padgett, the staff member in charge of the fundraiser, and a local scout leader, said: “As staff we have a strong connection to the town and the business has been here for over 20 years.

“Everyone knows the great work St Rocco’s does in Warrington and we, in our own small way, want to do our bit to help them.

“We hope people get behind us and spare any change when they come into the shop so that we can raise as much money as we can for a great local cause.”
