GORDON Smith has been hailed by many as Britain's most accurate medium.
I first heard of him through the BBC's three-part Everyman documentary about spirit mediums a couple of years ago. I was impressed and intrigued by the man they call The Psychic Barber.
Gordon a professional hairdresser from Glasgow has in recent years become something of a media darling, thanks to appearances on Most Haunted and a series of bestselling books, Spirit Messenger, The Unbelievable Truth and, now, Through My Eyes.
The first two books outlined his discovery and development of his psychic gifts. His new title the reason for his appearance at Warrington's Borders bookstore takes a look at the grieving and healing process that those left behind must go through after a loved one dies.
He says: "You can't die for the life of you.
"I no longer believe in life after death I know there is life after death. I am talking about the human consciousness. In the Western world we are taught to fear death; that we don't go on after we die.
"But I'm here to tell you that you can't die. You are bigger than this physical frame."
Gordon is a very calming presence to be around. And when he speaks, his words are inspiring; uplifting. Whatever your beliefs, you can't help but go away with hope.
Gordon's talk and book signing drew a large crowd, and came a week after the appearance by Most Haunted's Yvette Fielding and Ciaran O'Keeffe.
