MUSIC and family festival Burtonwoodstock will return this summer with live music all day on two stages.

The open air event will take place at The Club Burtonwood in Phipps Lane, Burtonwood, on Saturday, August 3, between 1pm and 10pm.

Organiser Paul Wharton said: “With two stages full of brilliant live bands and acoustic musicians including The Amazing Kappa Band, The Patriots, The Rics, The Bowie Room and many more this is sure to be another fantastic day full live music.

“Our aim is to again bring brilliant bands and acoustic musicians to Burtonwood for a festival everyone, young and old, can enjoy and be proud to be part of.

“Like last year this will be a free entry child-friendly festival, which will include food, festival and kids’ stalls.”

The full line-up includes The Bowie Room, The Patriots, Enigma, The Rics, Jack of All Trades, The Whiskey Wooders, Francesca and The Padgrim and The Amazing Kappa Band on the main stage and Charlie Reader, Matty Lamb, Cash Burns and Olivia Parr on the Courtyard Stage.

Burtonwoodstock launched in 2018 as part of a club’s mission to engage more with the community and support grassroots music.

The philosophy of the event is to have something for everyone from music of almost every genre to kids’ entertainment.

Food stalls and a bar will also be available throughout the festival.

Burtonwoodstock takes place at The Club, Burtonwood, on Saturday, August 3, and entry is free.
