LIVERPOOL’S Fusion Festival has announced its 2019 headliners with Rudimental topping the bill on August 31 and Little Mix closing the event on September 1.

Also playing at the Sefton Park weekender will be grime pioneer Dizzee Rascal, classical-pop outfit Clean Bandit, soul-pop sensation John Newman, producer and DJ Jonas Blue, singer-songwriter Anne-Marie, DJ Sigala, X-Factor winners Rak-Su and singer and presenter Hrvy, alongside many others still to be announced.

Drum and bass favourites Rudimental made their breakthrough when Feel the Love debuted at the top of the UK singles chart.

Since then they have been nominated for a Mercury Music Prize, won a MOBO, a BRIT and released multiple platinum-selling singles and albums.

As one of the biggest girl bands on the planet, Little Mix, have been on an incredible winning streak since becoming the first British group to win The X Factor in 2011.

They’ve gone on to have four multi-platinum selling albums, nine platinum singles and four UK number ones including Wings, Black Magic and Shout Out to My Ex.

Their appearance at Fusion will be a UK festival exclusive.

Speaking about the line-up, Rak-Su said: "We’re blown away by the calibre of artists playing at Fusion Festival 2019.

"We’re buzzing to be on the line up with people like Little Mix and Clean Bandit. Liverpool crowds are always awesome so we can’t wait to get on stage this summer."
