YOU can have a laugh and help the homeless at the same time thanks to two stand-up nights in Warrington.
Cheshire Cat Comedy and The Albion are among the comedy clubs in more than 70 towns and cities taking part The Homeless Support Stand-up Project.
The initiative has been spearheaded by comedian and writer Lindsey Davies who will headline the first Warrington show alongside Ash Preston, Danny Davies, Eddie Fortune, Jon Capewell, Justin Palmer and Rich Probert at The Albion in Battersby Lane on Wednesday, December 13.
Cheshire Cat Comedy’s gig is the day after on Thursday, December 14, at Hop Co in Bold Street.
There will be sets from Spencer Montagu, Si Machin, Anna Thomas, Karl White, Patrick Mackridge and John Fitzpatrick. The headline show is presented by trio Barrie Heap, Mike Keenan and Rob Mitchell.
Both nights are entry by donation and there will be raffles to boost the fundraising. The money from the Warrington nights will go towards Room at the Inn – The Y Project in Winmarleigh Street.
