Big Girls Don't Cry, Parr Hall
IT was a treat for all fans of the incredible Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons.
Big Girls Don’t Cry tribute concert, featuring the internationally famous East Coast Boys on their sixth year of touring in the UK, brought me back in time.
The night at the Parr Hall was filled with memories celebrating the iconic music of Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons whose hits sold more than 100 million records worldwide.
The show also included many of Frankie's solo hits and a medley of golden oldies from that period which have a special place in everybody’s heart.
The New Jersey Boys thrilled the audience with hits from the 60s and 70s including one of the most famous of all Sherry, followed by December 1963 (Oh What a Night), Rag Doll, Who Loves You, I’ve Got You Under My Skin, Walk like a Man, Bye Bye Baby, Stay and, of course, Big Girls Don’t Cry plus many more.
Not only did they have the audience dancing and singing along in the aisles to the hits, they threw in a few gags that had us all in stitches.
The atmosphere was electric and definitely worth seeing next time around.
