YOUNG ballet fans can get their first taste of a professional production with My First Cinderella, part of English National Ballet’s bid to bring ballet to young audiences.
Created with youngsters in mind, the simplified version hopes to inspire a long-term love of the art form. The dancers in My First Cinderella will wear the costumes from the full production giving audiences the feel of a classic ballet.
However the ragsto- riches tale and choreography will be adapted, making it suitable for younger audiences.
My First Cinderella is at Manchester Opera House on Saturday and Sunday May 18 and 19.
Performances are 11am, 2pm and 5pm Saturday and 11am and 3pm Sunday.
