FANCY some big beats and sizzling meats?

Europe’s largest barbecue and music festival, Grillstock, is coming to Albert Square in Manchester on Saturday and Sunday

The two-day event will be headlined by legendary New York DJ Grandmaster Flash and there will be a performance by music, comedy and dancing sensation the Cuban Bros

Levi Roots, who is behind the hugely popular Reggae Reggae sauce, will also play some lunchtime reggae and soul while indie rock band, The Heavy will headline the Sunday in Albert Square.

Festival goers can expect a smouldering US style 'King of the Grill' barbecue competition and chilli pepper and hot dog eating competitions.

Barbecue veteran Ray Lampe will be overseeing the judging.

Food fans can also check out the Weber Barbecue Academy and drink craft beer from the pop-up BrewDog bar.

The Scottish brewery has teamed up with Grillstock for the event and will be hosting acoustic blues bands throughout the weekend.

To get festival goers in the mood there is also a Friday night 'firestarter party' ahead of the main event at Albert Square from 7.30pm to 10.30pm with DJ Yoda.
