THE popular Foodies Festival is bringing festive spirit to Tatton Park for the first time from November 17 to 19.

Can’t cook the turkey quite right? Fear not, Cheshire’s finest will be answering all your questions during Christmas food masterclasses.

Tatton will be transformed into a winter wonderland where Great Taste Award winners will be exhibiting the best of produce at the Artisan Christmas Market.

For those with a sweet tooth, the Cakes and Desserts Theatre will be inspiring your Christmas baking with Great British Bake Off Winners and top patisserie chefs whipping up both traditional Christmas cakes and show-stopping alternatives.

Learn how to cook up a mint chocolate after dinner tart and Christmas pudding scones with apricot brandy butter.

Or if you would prefer to just soak up the festive atmosphere stop by the Pudding Hall for mulled wine, mince pies, Christmas cakes and macaroons.

If enjoying a tipple is more your thing at Christmas swing by Gin Alley where there will be Christmas Gin Cocktail Masterclasses.

The UK’s top wine, beer and champagne experts will also be teaching visitors how to match their drink with the tastes of Christmas and Charles Metcalfe will be presenting the ‘pleasures of port’.

Foodies is suitable for all the family too with the likes of the Elf Cookery School where little chefs can bake and decorate snowballs and snowflakes, gingerbread men, reindeer food and flapjacks or cookies to leave out for Santa.

Friday day tickets are £10 and Saturday and Sunday day tickets are £14. Under 12s are free.
