LYMM Beer Festival is back for its seventh year and organisers are promising more ales – and gin – than any of the previous events
This year’s charity event, run by Lymm and District Round Table, will take place on Friday and Saturday, September 8 and 9, in Lymm Village Hall.
There will be more than 35 cask ales on offer plus a selection of ciders, perries and wine.
And following on from the success of the ‘gin palace’ last year it will be returning with an even wider selection of gins.
There will also be food and live music throughout both days, and free soft drinks for non-drinkers and designated drivers.
Mike Lavelle, Lymm and District Round Table member and beer festival organiser, said: “We’re really pleased with the wide selection of ales on offer this year – there should be something for everyone, especially with the fantastic gin palace.
“We’re keeping our fingers crossed for the weather again as there’s nothing better than sipping a tasty ale in the September sun while enjoying some live music.”
The sessions run from 6pm to 11pm on Friday and noon to 11pm on Saturday.
The entry fee is £5 (discounts apply for CAMRA members) and includes a Lymm Beer Fest pint glass.
All cask ales and ciders are £2.50 a pint.
The Round Table is also seeking organisations to sponsor a cask for £80.
In return their names will appear in the programme, at the event and on the festival’s social media feeds. Sponsors will also receive four tickets and £20 worth of beer tokens.
