I REFER to the present Labour Government that was only elected two months ago
My my, were they tight-lipped about what proposals they had.
The raid on pensioners' winter fuel allowance payments was a surprise.
What else can we expect in the budget in October?
I think if a lot of people knew about Labour’s intentions on the OAP winter fuel allowance, they would not have achieved a victory in the election.
I also refer to the annual Creamfields event.
Can I ask a question? In what way does Warrington benefit from it?
Does it benefit financially?
Are the eventgoers spending mass amounts of money from it?
As far as I can see, all the residents of Warrington benefit from is noise pollution, traffic congestion and litter.
I think a total rethink of allowing the festival to continue is needed.
I cannot see any benefits from holding it in Warrington
