I WOULD like to praise the organisers of Warrington Running Festival on Sunday.
It was a brilliant event and one Warrington could be very proud of.
I have watched and taken part in some of the others over the past decade and this was the best, both in terms of the number of runners taking part and those watching.
The event showcases the best of our town and brings a much-needed feel-good factor.
For the organisers to make it free and encourage more people to get into running is fantastic.
This is a free sport which allows you to stay fit and explore the countryside.
I hope it keeps growing.
